A Race That Gives Back

OVER $200,000 in Support to Non-Profits Since 2015!!

We strive to give to constantly give back to the Gravel Family that has given so much love and support to us.

Giving back is at the heart and soul of the Gravel World’s Crew. Every year we give as much of our proceeds as we can to cycling related non-profits. Below is a link to some of our local cycling-related charities we encourage you to give to.

Also, our event wouldn’t be possible without the hundreds of hours donated by so many individuals every year. If you are interested in volunteering for our event, please click the link below to email us your information.

The Nebraska Interscholastic Cycling League was founded in 2019 as a non-profit (501(c)3) Emergent League of the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA). We facilitate the development of high school and middle school teams/clubs for grades 6-12 and provide the education, training, licensing, and insurance for coaches and volunteers. We also produce high-quality mountain bike events and races that emphasize the value of participation, camaraderie, positive sporting behavior and well-being over competition.

Adventure For All Fund

Adventure For All was founded to expand inclusive opportunities for individuals with intellectual and/or developmental exceptionalities through interactive adventure programs. These programs develop life skills and the confidence to expand job placement opportunities beyond our program.

Your donation goes towards the growth of our inclusive adventure programs & the growth of these exceptional individuals.

YMCA Strong Kids Campaign

The YMCA of Lincoln, a nonprofit 501(c)(3), provides youth activities that foster growth and learning under the guidance of caring adults who believe in their potential. At YMCA Camp Kitaki, kids take part in a multitude of activities that nurture positive self-esteem, friendships, teamwork and self-discovery. While at YMCA Youth Sports, kids build confidence and good sportsmanship. Taking Swim Lessons, kids learn to be safe in the water while staying active and engaged. In the YMCA’s After School Programs and Summer Day Camps, kids stay safe while furthering their educational knowledge and exploring clubs that bring out their interests. Through the Open Doors Financial Assistance Program, we strive to make sure that financial limitations are not a barrier to having a Y membership or participating in Y programs. Our most at-risk youth receive these services free of charge. When you think of your YMCA, you’ll know it’s more than just a gym—it’s a cause rooted in community. With your generous support, we’ll continue to build up the areas we serve—reaching out to help our neighbors in need.

Volunteer

Our Race Day wouldn’t be possible without our volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering for one of our events, please check out our Volunteer page.

In addition to volunteering for our event, we recommend all riders volunteer their time in their own locals to better the cycling community around the world. Trail and Park Clean Ups, Children Development Camps, Bike Maintenance Clinics, Local Cycling Advocacy Groups, and much much more are all examples of how to give back to your local community.
